When was it that our first steps started from simple curiosity?
With a scenery that has never been seen,
A sound that has never been heard,
A fragrance that has never been smelled,
A sensation that has never been felt,
A food that has never been tasted,
And a throbbing heartbeat that has never been experienced,
This is a journey to once again gather the fragments of forgotten emotions that were left behind in the past.
When we arrived at that point, I wonder what exactly we thought.
Past stormy seas of the roaring forties, furious fifties, and screaming sixties, there exists a wilderness. At the extreme end of the south there it exists far away from the peak of civilization on Earth.
This is the story of four girls who are on a journey as they move towards Antarctica, a place further than the universe.
Three Episode Impression

If you have, then you know what Mari Tamaki is going through. She wants something more, something fulfilling, and that is when a chance encounter with Shirase aka Antarctica, gives her that something she needs. She agrees to go with Shirase to the south pole. Diving in headfirst, she gets a job to pay and in the meantime, ropes in Hinata before finally meeting Yuzuki, the idol with no friends. While they are definitely something strange, the group of four works. Normally, we see a group of for girls being moe, acting ridiculous, and having pointless conversations about nothing. However, the girls of Sora yori mo really make it work. They have drive, they have passion, and you can feel it emanating from each of them. Each needs the other in a new way and there’s nothing sexual or ecchi about it. Her friends all follow her because she is so amicable. Since her name is Tamaki Mari, her friends call her Kimari. People often let her be the decision-maker, but actually when it comes down to being a leader or at the center of things, she is not a fan. She is brimming with curiosity, but is a bit timid at the same time and can be a bit of a coward. She is always disappointed in herself about how she wants to do something, but then will let it finish or end without doing anything at all. " img='']
