The earth is being taken over by the “Seven Sins,” devils from hell. Hearing of this, Heaven has sent seven angels as saviors to make one human the “true savior.”
However, all the angels are kind of useless…?! And so these angels who have fallen to earth run around the town looking for savior candidates…
Three Episode Impression
[ua_synopsis text="The sister anime to sin Nanatsu no Taizai that aired last summer, Nanatsu no Bitoku is the angel version and tells a story of the angels searching for a Messiah. However, the girls are wearing next to nothing and the camera does a good job to make sure that you see that constantly. Rather than what happened in sin nanatsu no Taizai, there is no central main character, but rather, each episode is like a one-off where the girls are trying to focus on training/being with their chosen Messiah as much as possible. Sadly, this anime is getting the short anime treatment as well with a lot of still scenes with voice overs and very poor animation movement. Ecchi fans though, do not lose heart! There is so much T&A that you cannot go wrong. In fact, since it moves so slowly, you have time to take in each scene as much as possible. Just a shame that Hobby Japan did not fork over more yen for this series. That must be reserved for the new Queen’s Blade OVA coming.
